Who are these written by?

Hi! My name is Sarah :)

When I was studying for my physics degree, I was one of very few women. It wasn't the friendliest environment, and I want to change that. I want anyone who is interested to feel like they belong in STEM.

I believe in

  • Growth mindset over "being smart"

  • Conceptual understanding rather than just memorization

  • Active, motivated puzzles rather than rote practice problems

  • Customizing learning for each individual!

And that learning is intrinsically fun!

Review of Newton’s Laws: A Fairy Tale

“My nine-year-old read this book in one sitting! Thank you so much, Sarah Allen, for providing a fictional tale intertwined with science concepts for kids.”

Parent Review of my Sorceress of Circuits story game:

“An absolutely brilliant game! Really fun to play, very captivating storyline - and the fact that my daughter learned (and retained) so much about electricity and circuits was amazing to me! I was very impressed with the graphics too. Overall, a wonderful idea fantastically executed!”

Reedsy review of Physics Fables
